Revelation 13

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. (Revelation 13:3, Revision of 1960) Before continuing, take time to pray for understanding of the Word. It is at these little junctures that the enemy of our souls throws in different points of view and confusion to muddle your understanding.

Do not make the mistake of confusing the Roman Empire with the Roman Catholic Church. Do not give in to the idea of Rome in its two stages “Pagan Rome and Papal Rome.” Do not make the mistake of associating General Berthier taking the pope captive in 1798 as the wounding of the head.

 During the French revolution, Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Italy in 1796 and occupied Ancona and Loreto. Pope Pius VI asked for peace, which was granted on February 19, 1797, at Tolentino. On February 10, 1798, General Berthier led his army into Rome unopposed and declared it a Roman republic on February 15, 1798. He demanded that Pope Pius VI renounce his authority as temporal or political leader of Italy. Pope Pius VI refused to renounce his authority. For this refusal he was taken prisoner on February 20, 1798.

 These and many other points of views must be unlearned. One of the heads on the beast is the Christian head or in other words Christianity. The other six heads from Islam to Shinto remained intact, unchanged from their creed and dogmas, but the Christian head changed its creed and dogmas, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils and departing from the faith. Therefore, let us focus our attention on Christianity, the Christian head.

Understand that the church built on Christ by the apostles is the same church that apostatized so badly, known today as the Roman Catholic Church, the papacy, the papal power, or the Roman Catholic system.

Understand that God, looking down on the apostate church, the church built on Christ, had this to say:

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)

Therefore, let us examine how the church got to that stage where God had to call his people out of her, saying, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” We shall also examine where we are today in light of the prophecy of Revelation 13:3: “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed.”

The Early Christian Church

It is not as if the early church did not have warnings of this great apostasy taking place within the church. Repeatedly the apostles warned the early church that the antichrist is working even now within the church. The apostles warned the church that as they approached the period called the last days, there would be a falling away from truth by the church. The church would give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, and they would depart from the faith.

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. (1 Timothy 4:1 KJV)

The apostles told the early church that they were already in the period called the last days, and they were to be vigilant because there were many antichrists already among them.

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18, Revision of 1960).

The apostles gave the early church specific instructions, letting them know that the spirit of antichrist was already at work among them in the church. They were to differentiate between the spirit of God and the spirit of the devil. They were to know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:3–6, Revision of 1960)

The apostles made every effort to differentiate the children of the devil from the children of God and the children of darkness from the children of light.

Observe how they used the terms darkness and light to represent people. “Ye were sometimes darkness,” they told the church. “Now ye are light in the Lord, walk as children of light.” They were establishing a marked difference between truth and error. Light dispels darkness, and truth destroys error. The church built on Christ was admonished not to allow anyone to deceive them with smooth talking and creative interpretations of the Word that sounded logical because God is not a God of human logic.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. (Ephesians 5:5–8 KJV)

Again, see how the apostles took the time to counsel the early church on the seduction that was taking place in the church at that time.

Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. (1 John 2:24–26 KJV).

Observe the tenor of Paul as he wrote this epistle to the church in Thessalonica. There was a dispute in the church that indicated the return of Christ in the cloud of heaven with power and great glory was at hand. This dispute was so intense that the church was shaking at the seams. As word reached Paul and the other apostles of the intense disputation taking place in the early church, they thought it best to write II Thessalonians 2 to encourage and strengthen the church.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. (II Thessalonians 2:1 KJV)

They told the early church not to allow any man to deceive them by any means. They informed the early church that Christ would not come before the church fell into a great apostasy. They clearly explained to the early church that the church would embrace the doctrines of devils and oppose all the doctrines of God. The early church would have a man sitting in the temple of God, saying that he was God and demanding worship. The apostles told the early church not to allow this apostasy to trouble them because this iniquity was already at work, but they should know and understand that he would be taken out of the way. They told the brethren, “Do not forget we told you so before it happened, so when it takes place you will have known that he (the man of sin) will at the appointed time will come to his end unto the end.” (II Thessalonians 2:5)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (II Thessalonians 2:3–7 KJV)

They Worshiped the Beast

Worship is mentioned in connection with the first beast of Revelation 13, and many expositors of the Word point to the wounded head and say, “Aha! It receives worship and therefore this worship must be in opposition to the worship of God.” What they have failed to point out is that worship goes on with all seven heads, and all seven heads blaspheme the name of God. The head, though part of the beast, is not the beast. Religion plays a great role in influencing nations; however, religion is not the government of the nation. It is the government of the nation and the people who determine what type of beast the nation is assumed to be.

The Word says, “And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:4, revision 1960).

It is very easy, especially for devout Christians, to look at this text and ascribe it to the narrow spectrum of a religious love and devotion in contrast to God. However, the text is referencing the beast with the people of the nation, saying, “Who is like unto the beast?” Notice how the text says “and they worshiped” the dragon and the beast.

What is worship? 

Worship is a feeling or expression of reverence, love, and devotion given to a deity. There is another word that has the same meaning and force as the word worship but is given to one’s country. That word is patriotism. Patriotism is defined as having or expressing love and devotion to and vigorous support for one’s country. Therefore, patriotism and faith are equal forces that bring out love and devotion in human beings. John saw the people who make up the nations of the composite beast of Revelation 13 as having an intense love and devotion to and vigorously supporting their countries. They are very proud of their countries and their military might. It is an honor for them to lay down their lives for their countries.

It is not difficult to conceive how the European people love their countries, and the military power of Europe collectively is unmatched by any nation. Who is able to make war with them and win? This is the world in which we live. This is a prophetic time; prophecy is unfolding, if only it could be seen from the right prospective. Do not confuse patriotism with nationalism; when John used the word worship, he was not referring to nationalism. Nationalists believe that their interests, cultures, social values, and religions are superior to all others. They disregard and disrespect the values, culture, and religion of any country that is different from their own. They have a superiority complex about them. This complex is a psychological defense mechanism in which feelings of superiority counter or conceal feelings of inferiority¹.

What John is referring to is how the Europeans have pride in their countries and pride in the accomplishments and achievements of their countries. They do not think they are superior to people in other countries. They love their countries passionately and will give their lives for their countries. They will give up their freedom if it means the protection of their countries. That is the kind of worship John is referring to when he says they worship the beast. It is the dragon who gave power to the beast. Therefore to be patriotic to the country is to be patriotic to the dragon, which is the devil and Satan (Revelation 20:2, Rev. 1960). And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” (Revelation 13:4, revision 1960).

Critical Examination of the Positions which we Hold

Many Christians today have accepted the Mark of the beast unbeknownst to them. The fact that they are awaiting the mark as the Sunday Law and that it is the mark of the Papacy; they do not associate many of the beliefs they hold as the mark of the beast. To them these beliefs are normal and holds no danger in receiving the wrath of God. The Mark belongs to the two horn beast. However by mistakenly applying the mark to the Papacy they do not behold the danger they are in.

Many simply reject the book “The Mark of the Beast, Revelation 13, Identifying the beast with the number and the mark” since the book do not advocate Sunday worship as the mark of the Beast. They say they reject the book because Ellen G. White says the Mark of the beast is Sunday Worship when it will be enforce. However the mark belong to the two horn beast and not the Papacy. Therefore everything about the mark of the beast must be seen in light of the two horn beast and not the Papacy.

God intends that, even in this life, truth shall be ever unfolding to His people. There is only one way in which this knowledge can be obtained. We can attain to an understanding of God’s word only through the illumination of that Spirit by which the Word was given. “The things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God;” “for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” [1 Corinthians 2:11, 10.] And the Saviour’s promise to His followers was, “When He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth.... For He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you.” [John 16:13, 14.]... { Gospel Workers GW 297.1; OE - Obreros Evangélicos (1997).312.1 }

Peter exhorts his brethren to “grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” [2 Peter 3:18.] Whenever the people of God are growing in grace, they will be constantly obtaining a clearer understanding of His word. They will discern new light and beauty in its sacred truths. This has been true in the history of the church in all ages, and thus it will continue to the end. But as real spiritual life declines, it has ever been the tendency to cease to advance in the knowledge of the truth. Men rest satisfied with the light already received from God’s word, and discourage any further investigation of the Scriptures. They become conservative, and seek to avoid discussion. { GW 297.2; OE.312.2 }

The fact that there is no controversy or agitation among God’s people, should not be regarded as conclusive evidence that they are holding fast to sound doctrine. There is reason to fear that they may not be clearly discriminating between truth and error. When no new questions are started by investigation of the Scriptures, when no difference of opinion arises which will set men to searching the Bible for themselves, to make sure that they have the truth, there will be many now, as in ancient times, who will hold to tradition, and worship they know not what. { GW 298.1; OE.313.1 }

I have been shown that many who profess to have a knowledge of present truth, know not what they believe. They do not understand the evidences of their faith. They have no just appreciation of the work for the present time. When the time of trial shall come, there are men now preaching to others, who will find, upon examining the positions they hold, that there are many things for which they can give no satisfactory reason. Until thus tested, they knew not their great ignorance. { GW 298.2; OE.313.2 }

And there are many in the church who take it for granted that they understand what they believe, but, until controversy arises, they do not know their own weakness. When separated from those of like faith, and compelled to stand singly and alone to explain their belief, they will be surprised to see how confused are their ideas of what they had accepted as truth. Certain it is that there has been among us a departure from the living God, and a turning to men, putting human wisdom in place of divine. { GW 298.3; OE.313.3 }

God will arouse His people; if other means fail, heresies will come in among them, which will sift them, separating the chaff from the wheat. The Lord calls upon all who believe His word to awake out of sleep. Precious light has come, appropriate for this time. It is Bible truth, showing the perils that are right upon us. This light should lead us to a diligent study of the Scriptures, and a most critical examination of the positions which we hold. { GW 299.1; OE.313.4 }

It suits the policy of Satan that men should retain the forms of religion if but the spirit of vital godliness is lacking. After their rejection of the gospel, the Jews continued zealously to maintain their ancient rites, they rigorously preserved their national exclusiveness, while they themselves could not but admit that the presence of God was no longer manifest among them. The prophecy of Daniel pointed so unmistakably to the time of Messiah’s coming, and so directly foretold His death, that they discouraged its study, and finally the rabbis pronounced a curse on all who should attempt a computation of the time. In blindness and impenitence the people of Israel during succeeding centuries have stood, indifferent to the gracious offers of salvation, unmindful of the blessings of the gospel, a solemn and fearful warning of the danger of rejecting light from heaven. { GC 378.1; CS.376.1 }

Often times I get questions after questions in regard to the book the Mark of the Beast. Through the questions being asked, it can clearly be seen that the questioner have not avail themselves of the information provided. They ask question to get a certain answer that is already in their knowledge bank. I started to feel a little frustrated at this type of attitude when the Holy Spirit asked me; What are you doing? Why are you frustrated? I stopped to think for a moment and I realized the greatest teacher that ever walk the face of the earth went through the same thing.

In one of their series of questions he made this profound statement found in Matthew 9:15-17. Concentrating on verse 17 he said; Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

In other words, Christ is saying, you cannot make new doctrine fit into old doctrine. The old doctrine will break, the new doctrine will run out and you will lose both the old and the new doctrine. The new doctrine must be taken on its own merit giving the Holy Spirit permission to work within.

There are others who point me to Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
What they are really saying is that you have to comply with the writings of Ellen G. White. To them the ten commandments are the law and the writings of Ellen G. White are the testimonies.

In the 1888 Material read to the General Conference Ellen G. White said this;

“In the fear and love of God I tell those before whom I stand today that there is increased light for us, and that great blessings come with the reception of this light. And when I see my brethren stirred with anger against God’s messages and messengers, I think of similar scenes in the life of Christ and the reformers. The reception given to God’s servants in past ages is the same as the reception that those today receive through whom God is sending precious rays of light. The leaders of the people today pursue the same course of action that the Jews pursued. They criticize and ply question after question, and refuse to admit evidence, treating the light sent them in the very same way that the Jews treated the light Christ brought them. { 1888 911.1 }”

She said again in Gospel Workers under the Danger of rejecting light: “No matter by whom light is sent, we should open our hearts to receive it with the meekness of Christ. But many do not do this. When a controverted point is presented, they pour in question after question, without admitting a point when it is well sustained. O, may we act as men who want light! May God give us His Holy Spirit day by day, and let the light of His countenance shine upon us, that we may be learners in the school of Christ. { GW 301.2; OE.316.2 }”

To call that system the beast is to take the word of God on a very long stretch. This horn functions both politically and as a Christian Church. It persecuted and killed any Christian who disagrees with its dogmas. The word says the Saints shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time and he would come to his end unto the end. Nowhere in scripture is it indicated that this horn power will regain its dominion to persecute the saints of God as it did for over twelve hundred years.

About the Author

Ezra does not remember when he learns Revelation 14: 9-11; it seem like he has always known it. Therefore he must have learned it at a very early age. Giving him-self to the knowledge of the word of truth he understood it is the duty of every person with reasoning power to understand the revelation of Christ as found in Revelation 1: 1-3 and Revelation 22:6,7. He also understood the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverb: 4:18. He understands that every Christian denomination has their own interpretation of the prophecies of Daniel and of John in the Revelation. Therefore he gave himself to pray asking the Holy Spirit to teach him the word of truth and to reveal to him the prophecies concerning the end times. As he studied he found what he was learning was not quite in line with established doctrine and that frightened him. It was then the Holy Spirit impressed upon his mind and said, “Didn’t you asked me to teach you?”

Then he submits to the will of the Holy Spirit not fearing the repercussion that may come about by not falling in line with established doctrine. Ezra believes before read this book, it is very important that time is taken out to pray, giving the Holy Spirit permission to work within that the subject is not rejected simply on the basis that is not how the Church teaches it. Pray earnestly that the Holy Spirit gives an open mind to embrace truth even if positions have to shift. The receiving of the mark of the beast commands the wrath and indignation of God; the consequences are severe; therefore the children of God must not slight the prophecies of the end time.

I am a third generation Seventh-day Adventist. Baptized at the age of ten; sat in baptismal class for three years, because the elders felt I was too young to be baptized before then. Even at the age of ten my parents had to advocate to allow me to be baptized. I have served in several capacity in the church, even now I am serving in the missionary field. By age 14 I was already teaching prophecy.

Becoming a Pathfinder Counselor, Master Guide and Youth Leader, reading the many books of the Spirit of Prophecy is a requisite. I believe Ellen G. White was an inspired writer of the Lord, and that her work stands as a foundational pillar for the children of God for this time. I believe the Seventh-day Adventist Church has lost its high estate because many Elders and Pastors do not ascribe to the writings of Ellen G. White.  Generally when they don’t they also do not know the scriptures as well.

Well then; Why the book “The Mark of the Beast, Revelation 13 Identifying the Beast with the Number and the Mark?” That book clearly seem to be contradicting the many statements of Ellen G. White on the subject the Mark of the Beast. 

In the book SELECTED MESSAGES BOOK 1, PAGE 37 by E. G. White, under the caption No Claim to Infallibility she says, “We have many lessons to learn, and many, many to unlearn. God and heaven alone are infallible. Those who think that they will never have to give up a cherished view, never have occasion to change an opinion, will be disappointed. As long as we hold to our own ideas and opinions with determined persistency, we cannot have the unity for which Christ prayed.—The Review and Herald, July 26, 1892.

In regard to infallibility, I never claimed it; God alone is infallible. His word is true, and in Him is no variableness, or shadow of turning.—Letter 10, 1895.”

We have many, many lessons to unlearn or else we will be disappointed she says. She said, she has never claim infallibility. In none of her writings has she claimed the inability to be wrong. If Ellen G. White was a live today she would have corrected the error as she have done on other subjects.

The premise of a Sunday Law is base in the false interpretation that the first beast of Revelation 13 is the Papacy and that the wounded head of Revelation 13:3 and the wounded beast of Revelation 13:14 are the same event and refers to the same entity. Base on that false foundation it is easy to identify the mark of the Papacy and to find the basis for a Sunday Law.

However sadly, though this has been taught and preached for over one hundred years, the first beast of Revelation 13 is not the Papacy, neither is the wounded head and the wounded beast are the same occurrence. In this case it would be wise to heed the instruction of Ellen G. White when she says we have many, many lessens to unlearn.

Base on scriptural evidence that the first beast of Revelation 13 is not the Papacy, and that the wounded head and the wounded beast are not the same event. That the mark belongs to the two horn beast and no one else. We as Seventh-day Adventist are duty bound to rethink our theology and make the necessary change to be credible and relevant in Biblical end time events.  

Many, many true hearted Christians have already accepted the mark of the beast unbeknownst to them. This is true because they are looking for the mark in the Papacy and a Law for the enforcement of Sunday worship. They have not been taught the mark belongs to the two horn beast and that they must look for the evidence of the mark in the two horn beast. They have accepted the mark of the two horn beast as normal. They do not frown on the mark of the two horn beast because to them it is normal and Sunday Law is not yet enforce. Therefore they are comfortable in the acceptance of the mark of the two horn beast.

The Bible says, “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Revelation 14:9, 10.

Amazing Truth of Revelation 13

To understand the Beast of Revelation 13 you must first understand how the beast of Revelation 13 interact with Daniel 2 & 7. Daniel 2 introduced the Image of Nebuchadnezzar's dream and Daniel 7 introduced the vision of beast by Daniel. Both these chapters introduced the succession of nations from Babylon to present and also introduced the first beast of Revelation 13. However there is no beast in Daniel representing the first beast of Revelation 13. Yet that beast is represented in both Daniel 2 and Daniel 7. 

Synopsis of Daniel 2

  This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Daniel 2:32, 33

Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. Daniel 2:37 &40 – 43

In Daniel 2:41, Daniel is prophesying that after The Roman Empire, the Legs of Iron, there will be another Kingdom. However this Kingdom will not be an Empire like the four Kingdoms before it. The Kingdom will be a divided Kingdom and they will not cooperate with each other.

In verse 42 Daniel gave the number of the different countries which formed this Divided Kingdom. He said as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. Understand there are ten toes on the feet of a normal human being. So also the Kingdom will be divided into ten countries when it is divided.

In Daniel 7: 2 – 8 Daniel had a vision confirming the vision of Daniel 2. Only this time Beast is used instead of the Image. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth: Daniel 2:17.

 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Here again Daniel is prophesying in verses 7 & 8 of the breakup of the Roman Empire into ten Countries and the rise of the Papal power by removing or destroying three of the original countries that came out of the Roman Empire after it broke up.

What is the Mark of the Beast?

Is it a computer chip under the skin, a tattooed number in the forehead, or something more subtle? The mark of the beast is one of the most misinterpreted prophecies in all of the Bible. Yet it is so important to correctly understand this subject. God have sent warnings about receiving the mark of the beast to mankind because He loves His people and He wants them to know the truth. With eternal death facing those who receive the mark, it is a crime not to deliver this message in its proper context. Before the question what is the mark of the beast can be answered, one must first ask what the beast is.

What is the BEAST? 

John said, “I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon” (Revelation 13:11, KJV 1960). In Daniel 7:23, beast is defined as a kingdom or sovereign nation and horns as political power. This beast that came from the earth has two horns or two political parties governing at the same time.

The only nation in the world that have two opposing political parties functioning at the same time signifying the two horns of the beast is the United States of America. The Nation (Beast) with the two political parties (two horns) governing at the same time seemingly peaceful is no other than the United States of America. The Word says the beast that came out of the earth has two horns like a lamb.

So what is the Mark of the United States of America?

At this juncture the devil has worked and is working his masterpiece of deception. Revelation 13:11–18 is simply describing the acts of the two-horned beast that came from the earth or the acts of the United States of America. However, the devil has managed to switch this around so nicely that the change is hardly recognizable. He is using the religious Christian world to perpetuate his deception.

The Amalgamated Beast

Many have ascribed the mark to the amalgamated beast of Revelation 13:1. Others have gone on to identify the wounded head of Revelation 13:3. They identify the wounded head correctly. Nevertheless after holding the audience’s attention by identifying the wounded head, they simply turn around and call the wounded head as it were the whole beast.  

The Exportation of Democracy

There is no doubt and neither will anyone argue that the United States of America goes around the world exporting democracy. The Cold War was all about the exportation of the ideology of communism versus democracy. Doubtless communism has lost and democracy has prevailed. Democracy is the mark of the United States of America. Democracy is defined as a form of government in which supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodic free elections. Most democracies today are a representative form of democracy involving periodic free elections.

Prevailing Democratic Countries

The propagation of democracy cannot obscure the problems that have appeared in prevailing democratic countries. For many countries who have embraced democracy, democratization has proven to be politically destabilizing and socially demoralizing. All that is wrong with this system of democracy is not clearly known, and neither has it been exhaustively studied to identify its evil. However what is known is that it commands the fury of God.

Rejection

There is a deep sadness in that many saints will reject the foregoing simply on the basis that they point to the beast and his image in another direction for many years and have become comfortable with that theology. This is a deception perpetuated by the evil one to lead the children of God astray.

Do not be Deceived

Do not be deceived; the mark is the mark of the two-horned beast. Therefore everything about the mark must be seen in light of the two-horned beast or the United States of America and no one else. To point to or to look in any other direction is a work perpetuated by the evil one. No doubt the evil one wants the mark of the beast to be seared into the foreheads of mankind and supported with their right hands. If the devil can get the mark of the beast to burn into the forehead, that is all he needs. That person will defend that which he believes with passion. Therefore the Devil provide many alternative Mark of the Beast, which is acceptable by many.

There is no doubt and neither will anyone argue that the United States of America goes around the world exporting democracy. Democracy is the mark of the United States of America. Democracy is the Mark of the Beast.

After the fall of earth to Lucifer, man was promised a redeemer to redeem man from the curse of lawlessness under the code name “SIN.” This lawlessness separate earth from the rest of the universe. When Eve gave birth to her first child she though he was the redeemer so she exclaimed she has gotten a man from the Lord.  “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. Genesis 4:1”

The Reminder

To keep man in remembrance of the redeemer God instituted a sacrificial system. This system was to always remind man that the reward for lawlessness (SIN) is death, and that the redeemer will come to redeem them from the curse of this death. God gave the responsibility to perpetuate this reminder to the Patriarch the head of each household. It was the duty of each head of household to bring the family together and perform this ritual to remind them of the redeemer and the penalty for SIN.

The Ceremony

To perform this ceremonial system, the head of the household the Patriarch would take a healthy lamb with no defect, kill and destroy it by fire. By this ceremonial system man was to be reminded that the redeemer must be free from sin, signified as the lamb with no defect. By killing the lamb man was reminded that the penalty for sin is death and that the ultimate end of this death is to be consumed by fire. There were many steps in this ceremonial system. Each step was to bring to remembrance the work of the redeemer.

The Change

In time as men multiplied on the earth either they totally forgot or perverted this ceremony. Therefore God changed the system and gave the responsibility of the head of household the Patriarch to a group of people call the Priest. It was now the responsibility of the Priest to call the nation to the remembrance of the redeemer and perform all the duties of the Patriarch.

Perversion of the Priest

By the time the redeemer came a little over two thousand years ago the Priest had perverted all of the doctrine of the ceremonial system. They instituted their own doctrine to support the perversion. By this time the Roman Empire had occupied their land and they were under occupation. The people look to the Priest for answers and relief from this occupation.

Indoctrinated Lies

Besides the many perversion of the ceremonial system by the Priest, they told the people when the redeemer comes He will derive the Romans out of town and they will be a free people again. They, the Priest indoctrinated this and many other lies into the people. The way the lies were formulated it gave the people hope; false hope but hope. Under the influence of this false hope they look to the coming redeemer to relieve them from this Roman occupation.

When the Redeemer came

By now the people were totally indoctrinated in the doctrine of the Priest. They practiced the perverted doctrine that had been handed down by the Priest for centuries. When the Redeemer came He did not come according to the doctrine of the Priest and the belief of the people. They looked for one to drive their Roman occupiers out of their land. They had forgotten that the work of the redeemer was to redeem man from the curse of lawlessness (SIN) and bring in a right relationship with the Father. They the Priest and the people rejected the redeemer because He did not come according to doctrine handed down for centuries.

Today

Today the Bible tells us about the Mark of the Beast. There are terrible consequences for the receiving of the mark of the beast as quoted in scripture. “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Revelation 14:9, 10

Web of Lies

"When a well-packaged web of lies has been gradually sold to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic."

For generations theologians have been selling this futuristic mark of the beast to a present world. The world in which the beast exist and is functioning. To many Christian it is utterly preposterous to conceive that the beast is in existence and has been functioning for over two centuries. Most Christians cannot and will refuse to recognize that the beast has performed all of the signs described by John in Revelation 13:11-18. There are many doctrines perpetuated by theologians and teachers of the word, all clamming to be the correct interpretation of the mark of the beast. These doctrines are embedded in lots of suppositions, the future and uncertainties. Like the people of old these doctrine has been handed down for centuries and the people has accepted them as truth because the doctrine is from the teachers of the word.

Rejection-the Setup

Most Christian denominations teaches against the receiving of the mark of the beast. However most Christians already have the mark of the beast. Like the people of old the mark did not come in the expected manner according to the doctrine handed down for centuries by the teachers of the word. Therefore the people are setup to receive the mark of the beast for the lark of the knowledge of who the beast is and what is his mark. The people of old rejected the Redeemer because He did not come according to the doctrine. So also the people of today is rejecting the truth of the Mark of the Beast because the mark did not come according to doctrine.

  

Awake

Christians awake! The mark of the beast is here and has been here for a long, long time. The practices of many Christian denominations are modeled after the system of the Beast. They have accepted this system of democracy as normal and in no way connected with the mark of the beast. The many Christian doctrines do not give a clear vision as to who the beast is or what is his mark. They all have embedded the mark of the beast to some undetermined time in the future. Therefore it is easy to preach and teach a futuristic Mark of the Beast since you do not have to take any action on the mark of the beast right now since the mark is future. This futuristic mark of the beast doctrine have setup Christians to receive the mark of the beast unbeknownst to them. Christians awake! The mark of the beast is here and has been here for a long, long time.

An Unconditional Surrender

The denominations of the Christian Religion has failed and is continuing to fail to connect the unconditional surrender policy of Prime Minister Winston Churchill and President Franklin D. Roosevelt to the passage of scripture of Revelation 13:13 “And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,” Most devout Christians have projected Revelation 13:13–14 into the future and are looking for the event in some sort of supernatural way. They cross reference Revelation 13:13, 14 with text like Exodus 7:11 where Pharaoh’s magicians mimic the supernatural phenomenon of Moses. With 1 Kings 18:38 when Elijah prayed to God for fire “Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.”

They also cross reference Revelation 13:13 with Matthew 24: 24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” To continue the support of their theology for good measure they through in Luke 9:54 “And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?”

They use references like Revelation 11:5; 16:14; 19:20 and 20:9 all in an effort to support fire coming down from heaven as a supernatural phenomenon. Yet the Bible clearly states it was the beast that came from the earth, the two horned beast or the Nation of The United States of America that made the fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. Meaning that all parties involve knew what the United States was doing but said not a word. In other words they consented to the acts of the United States of America. America made fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of all the Nations.   

How did America made fire come down from heaven?

Saints of God, understand that these great wonders done by the two-horned beast, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth, are not supernatural acts. Indeed history will attest that America unleashed their B-29 war planes over Japan in 1945 and made fire come down from heaven upon the earth. To bring World War II to an end The United States of America developed the policy of unconditional surrender. To achieve that goal they must devastate Japan. The weapon of choice to accomplish that goal was fire. Before dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Americans burned and destroyed sixty-seven cities in Japan by the use of firebombs from heaven. While America was devastating Japan with firebombs, Europe stood still and said not a word. This silence of the European nations is why John said it was done in their presence. They knew what the Americans were doing in Japan, but everybody remained quiet about it.

Saints of God, understand the nature of this fire from heaven as John sees it. In a vision John was shown the night sky over Tokyo on the nights of March 9 and 10, 1945. Suddenly the sky was lit up as 279 B-29 bombers dropped incendiary bombs and destroyed 267,000 buildings in Tokyo, Japan’s largest city in one night. Tokyo Fire Department estimated 97,000 were killed and 125,000 wounded all in one night. This flammable bombardment continued for six months, day and night. “And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, Revelation 13:13” Never before in world history had such great wonders ever been done. The world was aghast and mystified by the miracles the beast of the earth had power to do in the presence of the sea beast. By this time, Japan was on its knees with an unconditional surrender.

The people of Japan were without hope, broken, and destitute. All they wanted was for the fire to stop. They reached the point where they just stopped fighting. Such fire was unprecedented. Never had it been done before in world history.

Time for Christians to connect history with scripture

It is high time for Christians to move away from this futuristic supernatural fire and look at events that has taken placed with the two horned beast or the United States of America. It appears that Christians are under the assumption that the United States of America can do no wrong. Therefore it must give its power to some other entity to accomplish its mission as stated in scripture. It is time for Christians to connect history with scripture. The interpreters of the word of old could not have understood such a fire done by a nation because it had never been done before. Therefore they saw it as supernatural and interpret it as such. However it is time for Christians to make the connection between history and scripture. They cannot continue with this futuristic supernatural fire and be authentic in their teaching.
