Most theologians if not all, in one form or another point
to the Papacy as the Beast with the mark. Most Christian denominations if not
all will defend to the death that the Papacy is the Beast with the mark and the
number. Other than supposition, theory and persuasive argument there is no scriptural
foundation to point to the Papacy as a Beast.
The two horn beast is the United States of America. The mark of the beast as found in Revelation 13:11-18 points to the acts of the United States of America and no one else. To point to any other entity is a work perpetuated by Satan.
Daniel point to the Papacy as a horn, a political entity.
Daniel said he considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. Daniel 7: 8
He continued saying, he
saw the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Daniel
7:21
The prophet Daniel said, the
ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall
rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue
three kings. Daniel 7:24
1. First the Roman Empire will be divided into ten Kingdoms with kings.
2. Second, another king will rise among the ten Kings, and will uproot three of the first ten kings.
3. Then that king will speak great words against the most High,
and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and
laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the
dividing of time. Daniel 7:25
4. The saints (the children of God) will be persecuted by that
king who uproot the three kings for a time and times and the dividing of time
and not one day more. A time in prophecy is one year, times is two years and
half a time is six months. Therefore that king was given three and a half years
or forty-two month or twelve hundred and sixty days to have power over the
saints.
5. In prophecy a day is one year. Therefore that king who speak
great words against the most High had 1,260 years of dominion over the saints
and not one day more.
6. Indeed the Papacy had 1,260 years of dominion over the
people of God. That time ended when the political dominion of the church was
taken away in 1798. The prophet Daniel said the judgment shall sit, and they
shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end Daniel
7:26. Never again will the Papacy be able to have dominion over the people of
God as it did for 1,260 years.
John point to the Papacy as a Head, a religious entity.
In reference to the same event Daniel spoke about but did not associate a beast with the event, John is now connecting a beast with the ten kings spoken of by Daniel. He said he stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Revelation 13:1John is saying he saw a Nation coming out from a lot of people and it had seven religions and ten kingdoms. All seven religions in that kingdom blasphemed. To blaspheme is to talk about God or religion in a way that does not show respect.
John said there was given
unto him (the beast) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power
was given unto him (the mouth) to continue forty and two months. Revelation
13:5
How long was the mouth to
continue?
Forty two months or 1,260
years, are the same as the king spoken of by Daniel.
Observed the act of the
mouth that speak great things and blasphemies and compare it with what Daniel said.
And he opened his mouth
in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them
that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints,
and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues,
and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names
are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of
the world. Revelation 13:6-8
Here we see both Daniel
and John gave this power that make war with the saints only 1,260 years to have
dominion over the saints and not one day more. This dominion ended in 1798 when
the political dominion of the church was taken away.
There is not one verse in
scripture that points to the Papacy regaining its power to have dominion over
the saints and to make war with them after its dominion is taken away at the
end of the 1,260 years. Note, neither Daniel nor John referred to the Papacy as
a beast. Only theologians made that connection.
Therefore, the Papacy is not the agent with the number
and the mark.
There are a few
things the Bible says the agency with the MARK and the NUMBER will do.

After destroying the
earth with fire without one condemnation, he will say to the world to make an
image of the ten nation kingdom to maintain peace in the world. And deceiveth
them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power
to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that
they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did
live. Revelation 13:14

He has the power
to give life to the image and any one that disrespect the image will be killed.
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of
the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the
image of the beast should be killed. Revelation 13:15

He causeth all,
both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their
right hand, or in their foreheads:

accept the mark of the beast/nation they will impose economic sanction on you.
How many individuals and nation do you know have economic sanction imposed on
them? And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name
of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:17
The words economic sanctions are modern-day English. Such a phrase was not
yet invented and was not part of the vocabulary in John’s day. Therefore he used
the most-descriptive words possible to describe what he was shown being done by
the two-horned beast. He said, “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that
had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation
13:17 KJV). Note, this action of the two-horned beast is not taken against the
saints but rather against man.

Every nation has a
number. If you are smart count the number of the nation. All of the power of
the number is vested in one man. When that man speak the nation has spoken. Here
is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for
it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

All the
power of these 666 people is vested in one person, the president of the United
States. When the president speaks, the nation has spoken. The number 666 spoken
of by John in Revelation 13 is the number of the nation of the United States of
America. However theologians are pointing in every direction other than the
United States of America. Most Christians will not accept that the number 666
spoken of by John in Revelation 13 is the number of the United States of
America.
These thing the
beast/nation will do. This is not a conflict against the saints of God, but
rather against all both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond.
