In
the image of Nebuchadnezzar there are five parts to the image each
with a corresponding beast.
Dan
2:1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar
Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and
his sleep brake from him.
Dan
2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great
image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the
form thereof was terrible.
Dan
2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of
silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
Dan
2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
A
Starting Point
The
Kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar, the kingdom of Babylon was the head of
gold.
Dan
2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath
given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
Dan
2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the
field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and
hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
The
book of Daniel 7 presents the same kingdoms this time using beast
coming up out of the sea.
The
Lion represented Babylon; Daniel 7:4, The first kingdom as
represented in the image as the head of gold Daniel 2:32 and Daniel
2:38 Thou art this head of gold.
The
starting point of both the beast, the Lion of Daniel 7 and the image
the head of gold of Daniel 2 is the Kingdom of Babylon.
While
the Image have five parts with its corresponding Beast only four
beasts are presented in Daniel. Although Daniel made mention of the
nature of the fifth Beast he did not present the fifth beast in
connection to the Image.
Dan
7:16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the
truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation
of the things.
Dan
7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall
arise out of the earth.
Dan
7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon
earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the
whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
The
Fifth Beast in Connection with the Image of Nebuchadnezzar
The
fifth beast is not found in Daniel but rather in Revelation 13.
Concerning
the fourth beast Daniel Said, I beheld even till the beast was slain,
and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. Daniel 7:11
As
concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken
away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. Daniel
7:12
The
rest of the beast are the Leopard, the Lion and the Bear. They had
their dominion taken away but they did not die. Their lives were
prolonged for a season and time. Daniel 7:12
The
fourth beast died, beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given
to the burning flame. Daniel 7:11
Turning
to Revelation 13: 2 John said, the
beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the
feet
of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
Observed
Daniel said, the
rest of the beast, the Leopard, the Lion and the Bear. They had their
dominion taken away but they did not die. Their lives were prolonged
for a season and time. Daniel 7:12
Concerning
the feet and toes of the Image Daniel said, And whereas thou sawest
the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the
kingdom shall be divided; Daniel 2:41
Try
as man may, and as religious establishments have been touting a one
world government the scripture says it will never happen. They shall
not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Dan
2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall
mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one
to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
When
the Roman Empire disintegrated in 476, what came out of it is the
European Nations.
John
said, And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up
out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns
ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And
the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as
the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the
dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Revelation 13:1, 2
Note,
Daniel said the Leopard, the Lion and the Bear, they had their
dominion taken away, but they did not die. Their lives were prolonged
for a season and time. Daniel 7:12
Now
John is saying he saw one beast which is now called the European
Nations, the divided nations that came up from the Roman Empire after
476 and it saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet
of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
In
other words, some of the European Nations, the divided Kingdom of the
feet and toes of the Image of Nebuchadnezzar, adopted the form of
Government of Babylon the Lion, Media Persia the Bear, however most
of the Nations adopted the form of government of Greece the Leopard.
Hence, John saw a Beast coming out of the sea like unto a leopard,
and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth
of a lion: Revelation 13: 2
