A Beast in Bible Prophecy
Theologians have led the
masses to believe that the Mark of the Beast is religious by nature.
Most Christian denominations
point to the Catholic Church as the beast, whether they say it directly or
indirectly. When they say the Antichrist; they are truly referring to the
Catholic Church. However the use of the term Antichrist is a way of being religieo-correct.
Throughout the Bible when beast is use in prophecy it refers to a nation. Daniel talk about four great beast referring to four great Nations or empires

| 1. The lion with wings represented Babylon (Daniel 7:4). |

| 2. The bear with three ribs in its mouth represented |
 |
3. The leopard with four wings and four heads represented
Greece (Daniel 7:6).

| 4. The dreadful and terrible beast with ten horns represented Rome (Daniel 7:7). |
However when we come to the book of Revelation
these Christian Theologians interpret beast to be anything but a nation. To
them beast becomes religion; the devil or anything except a nation. Beast in Daniel represent a nation
Daniel said, I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. Daniel 7:15-17
Therefore beast in Revelation is also a nation. It is not one thing in Daniel and something else in Revelation. The Bible is not like that it is consistent, beast in prophecy is a nation. Therefore the mark of the beast is a mark belonging to a nation and not to a religious system or some unidentified futuristic character or event. The mark belong to the two horn beast. The mark belongs to the only nation on earth that has two political parties governing at the same time. Hence the two horns of the beast. The beast is the nation and the horns are the political apparatus of the nation. The mark belong to the nation with two political parties governing together.
